As this is being written, on the first "official" day of Winter, Vancouver Island is experiencing true winter weather with record cold temperatures and snow. With the unusual weather it isn't easy to be thinking about BMX unless Santa is bringing new BMX presents on Christmas day.
With the official start of Winter, longer and warmer days are not that far off. Which means BMX racing isn't that far off either. For now thought, the track is covered in snow and Christmas is only a few days away. We at Erik Goetzinger BMX wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Great 2009 and we look forward to seeing everyone at the track in April.
To end on a BMX note, Victoria BMX is trying to put together a BMX Clinic on the weekend of May 30 & 31, 2009. The clinic would be put on by Ken Cools of Camp Cools.
