Even though Summer begins in June, it isn't till school out that Summer truly begins. We ended June with some great racing and all the racers went home with some wonderful trophies who were donated by Roger Barclay of Victoria who has been around BMX for a long time. Thank you Roger!
July is now hear and I hope everyone had a great Canada Day. We will continue racing on Tuesday evenings through out the Summer and because of the dry weather it would be wonderful if we could get some help with the track prior to racing. It isn't that hard as what we need is a couple of people watering or raking the track so that it's safe to race. If anyone would like to help we are usually at the track by 5:30 PM.
Finally, we had two young riders who were recognized this past Tuesday for earning their 8th win and moving up to the Intermediate ranks. Owen Denholm and Patrick Green are both 5 years old. Congratulations to both riders on their accomplishment.
